Annual Inter-Unit CSI Competition

CSI Comp

Website Heading_about

The CCHS(M) NPCC Annual Inter-Unit CSI Competition is aimed to be our flagship event for all NPCC Units. Through this competition, we aim to achieve the following objectives:

  • To promote discipline, teamwork and Unit pride through friendly competition with other Units
  • To allow cadets to get a first-hand experience in forensic evidence collecting and crime-solving
  • To introduce cadets to the challenges of being an Operations Planning Officer in planning and deciphering information, and eventually going down on a manhunt to nab the criminal(s)

On Saturday, 5th September 2009, teams will race against each other and the clock to nab the criminal(s) through collection of evidence from suspects and crime scenes, interviewing of witnesses and suspects, as well as deciphering evidence reports collected from the “crime lab” that we have set up in our school. Teams will use all information gathered to produce a final crime report to determine the winner of the competition!

This one-of-a-kind CSI competition also hopes to inculcate critical thinking skills in cadets through solving of clues given and processing of the crime scene. Participants will also have the chance to be exposed to the various challenges that police officers face in their line of work.  Download the Rules and Regulations of the competition here!

We are pleased to have DSP (NPCC) Nani Rahayu Bte Mohamed Razali, Assistant Commandant Area 11, as our Guest-of-Honour for our competition. Trophies will be presented to the top three teams of the competition. All participating Units will also receive a token of appreciation after the competition.

Social Responsibility

We would like to remind all participants to use the recycling bins available at our school canteen for disposal of recyclable waste such as aluminium drinks cans and plastic bottles, and to help keep our campus clean. Thank you!
